Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to explore the process of recruitment jobs. Design/methodology/approach - The paper takes the form of fictional poem. Findings - The poem observes that the movement from one institution to another is a zero sum game. Originality/value - The poem critiques the tendency of academics to move institutions to get promotion. It is inspired by friends and colleagues of the author in Sydney.
