Abstract

The g factors and mean lifetimes of several short-lived low-lying states in 3070Zn40 have been measured using the techniques of projectile Coulomb excitation in inverse kinematics combined with transient magnetic fields and the Doppler-shift attenuation method. The present results have been interpreted within the framework of large-scale shell-model calculations that include the g9/2 orbital.
