    Abstract

We present experimental observations of the auto-ionization of 3lnl′ doubly-excited states of helium into the 2s2S and 2p2P excited ion final-state channels using time-resolved detection techniques to separate the decay routes. A qualitative comparison to previously published theoretical results is given.
