    Abstract

    A formalism to interpret the perturbations of γ-γ directional correlations from nuclei oriented by heavy-ion induced reactions is described. Applications to multidetector arrays are considered and aspects of experiments designed to measure magnetic dipole moments of excited nuclear states are considered.
