Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess whether different pharmacological interventions (PPIs, H2RAs, antacids, sucralfate or bismuth salts) administered to preterm and term neonates for the prevention or treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding reduce morbidity and mortality compared with each other, placebo, no treatment or supportive care.
