Abstract

The reaction of [OsHCl(CO)(PPh3)(2)(BTD)] (BTD = 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole) with P=CCMe3 provides the novel complex [Os{kappa(1)P,kappa(1)P'-P=CRP(=CHR)Cl(CO)(PPh3)(2)] (R = CMe3) which features both phospha-alkenyl and phosphaalkene donors within the same metallacycle.
