Photoelectrochemical Energy Conversion with Clusters

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Recently, the fossil energy crisis and environmental pollution caused by combustion drive people to develop renewable clean energy. Among clean energy sources, solar energy is almost inexhaustible. Therefore, more researchers turn to photocatalytic energy conversions, such as photoelectrochemical (PEC) CO 2 reduction reaction and PEC water splitting. Clusters show excellent catalytic performance due to their unique structure. This chapter mainly describes the research progress and future development of clusters in the application of PEC energy conversion in recent years.
