    Abstract

    This work is a portfolio of recorded and live performances of improvised music by the author, on piano, and Ben Marston, on trumpet and electronics, over a three-year period; it includes two albums, one of which was recommended in The Sydney Morning Herald, featured on JazzTrack on ABC Jazz radio, and received favourable reviews on three prominent Australian music blogs, and nine live performances in Canberra, Sydney, and Brisbane, at prominent music venues and jazz clubs, such as the Street Theatre in Canberra and Venue 505 and Lazy Bones in Sydney.
