    Abstract

    A national representative survey conducted in Ukraine between 15 and 24 January 2010 by the Russian Research agency examined political preferences, voter choices in the January 2010 presidential election, living standards and forms of ownership, trust in civic institutions and patterns of political engagement, corruption and religion, the nature of post-Soviet change, the ‘Orange revolution’ in retrospect, and the economic crisis of the latter years of decade. Other questions considered included foreign policy orientations and media use.
