Abstract

The reactions of the (carbamoyl)tetracarbonylferrate [Fe{C(=O)N′Pr2}(CO)4]- with (CF3CO)2O and PPh3 provide the structurally characterized trlfluoromethyl-carbamoyl complex [Fe(CF3){η2-C(=O)N′Pr2}-(CO)2(PPh3)]. A similar reaction with Ph3SnCl and PPh3 provides the stannyl derivative [Fe(SnPh3) {η2-C(=O)N′Pr2}(CO)2(PPh3)].
