    Abstract

The certification of private randomness of quantum origin is paramount for cryptographic applications. By trusting the measurement device, conjugate quadrature measurements allows us to quantify insecure side-information on the measured state with bounded energy. We demonstrate a live self-checking random number generator using squeezed states.
