    Abstract

A Blak rainbow, thats me. What does this mean you ask? How can I tell you the experience of living in 2 skins? For decades I have watched and experienced the changing terrain and the constant naming and renaming of people based on their cultures and sexualities. Me, us, WE are not heterogeneous, we are homogenous, we are not one, we live outside the binary that seeks to contain us. We can claim our own identities outside the norms are we white, not black too black too white, gay enough, yes and often the other. So, how do we live within these tensions, these namings by others, how do we claim who we are in these times, just as we are. I claim my citizenship as a human from this earth. I am a blak rainbow. Thats me.
