Abstract
This is a short research article the analyses the broad cultural impacts of artist and filmmaker Tracey Moffatt. It considers Moffatt's work across both film and visual art, through a precise reading of her important short film 'Night Cries'. It is published in Peephole Journal, which is an online journal dedicated to short-form articles and creative film criticism. Peephole is edited by Whitney Monaghan, Kate Warren and Belinda Glynn.
