Abstract
Re-calculation of previously published U-series/ESR age results in two teeth from Layer C of the type locality of the Hoxnian Interglacial resulted in a mean age of 404-42/+33 ka. This age indicates that the deposition of this layer took place during Oxygen Isotope Stage (OIS) 11, possibly at the boundary to OIS 10. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
