Abstract
“Romance scholars off the beaten track” is a new Isogloss rubric featuring short interviews with Romance scholars who work outside the traditional regions where Romance linguistics is commonly studied. The goal is to highlight scholars who are geographically distant from the core Romance areas and whom we encounter less frequently at Romance linguistics conferences, asking them to answer a few questions about their work and the status of Romance linguistics in the areas where they work. This initiative aims to increase awareness of their work within the Romance community and foster opportunities for collaboration.
