Abstract
Every Hill Got a Story is the first comprehensive history of Central Australia’s Aboriginal people, as told in their own words and their many languages. Sammy Butcher was interviewed by Kirsty Wissing (a Central Land Council employee at the time of the interview). This is the full recorded interview, with excerpts included in the written work "Every hill got a story: We Grew up in Country" (2015), written by Men and Women of Central Australia and the Central Land Council, compiled and edited by Marg Bowman.
