Abstract
Sarbanissa Diana Sugi, 1996 (Agaristinae) is recorded from Christmas Island, Australia for the first
time based on two specimens, a female collected in 1964 and a male in 2019. These records represent the first occurrence of this species, and genus, from within the political boundary of Australia.
