    Abstract

The 7Li(7Li, 11B*)t, 12C(7Li, 10B*)9Be and 7Li(7Li, 12B*)d reactions have been studied at 58 MeV in order to determine the relative strengths of the H + Be and α + Li decay of 10,11,12B. A study of the relative yields for the decay of a number of excited states in 10,11,12B*, obtained following the coincident detection of the H + Be and α + Li decay fragments, indicates that the α-decay channel dominates in all cases.
