abstract = "In this article, a triangular resonator is modified by adding air inclusions to create a Sierpinski Gasket resonator. The resonant modes of this fractal structure are studied by using Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) analysis. In the end, the potential of using the fractal structure as a laser resonator is analyzed, showing that a 1st order Sierpinski Gasket can operate as a quasi single-mode laser.",
