    Abstract

The problems of socially vulnerable patients, such as migrants or the illiterate, are often complex. However, these groups are underrepresented in research and practice improvement projects, while insight into their experiences is necessary for effective person-centred care. Often people from these groups are unwilling to participate and find forms and questionnaires too complicated. Nevertheless, it is quite possible to involve this group equally in research and practice.
