Soliton mobility in optically-induced nonlinear lattices

    Abstract

    We suggest a novel way of controlling mobility of solitons in optically-induced nonlinear lattices. Whereas only the lattice intensity defines the band-gap spectrum, we find that the lattice phase strongly affects the soliton motion.
