    Abstract

For Paper Mountains first exhibition, The Conservatorium, 80 artists each developed an artwork in a glass jar. Despite being enacted on a small material scale, The Conservatorium allowed for a giant confluence of emerging and established Australian artists. Space is Big is a small universe in a jar, merging with a microscope to create a hybrid tool for home investigation of the planets. This exhibition was held as part of Perth Fringe Festival.
