Spatial switching in modulated photonic lattices

    Abstract

    We discuss propagation and switching of discrete solitons in modulated optically-induced photonic lattices. We reveal novel dynamical regimes for strongly localized solitons and show the possibility of binary spatial switching realized by varying the amplitude of the modulating beam.
