Securing equitable and sustainable food system is a critical global challenge. Although food security is a key sustainable development goal (consider Sustainable Development Goal 2 Zero Hunger), the United Nations latest food security assessment shows that we are still off tracl in ending hunger and food insecurity (FAO et al. 2020, viii)
