    Abstract

Takadanobaba Is a suburb of Tokyo where the Australia Council Tokyo Studio Residency was located for over 20 years. These works reflect on the rhythms experienced on a daily basis through a three month residency in the studio 2016. Made at a tiny living room table inside the order of Japanese space they echo the rhythm and flow of traffic, people and energy pulsing to and from within this lively part of Tokyo. The works are layered grids with no one focal point
