Abstract

(Matrix Presented) The syntheses of 4,4a-didehydrohimbacine and 4,4a-didehydrohimandravine are presented. Key steps include an intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction of a bromopentadienyl acrylate and Suzuki-Miyaura and Stille coupling reactions.
