Abstract

The case of Kahle v Ashcroft [(2004) C 04-1 127 BZ] in the United States District Court of California is one of a number of constitutional challenges still underway against the S onny B ono C o p yrig h t Term Extension A c t 1998 (US). The plaintiffs in this case include the Internet Archive and its chairman Brewster Kahle, and the Prelinger Film Archive and its president, Richard Prelinger.
