Abstract
Pronunciation training studies take place in a variety of contexts, each with their own strengths and constraints. In the first part of this chapter, we examine the pros and cons of laboratory-, classroom-, and online classroombased studies and how effective pronunciation training in one context can inform training in others. In the second part, we show how these findings inform teaching practice and what pedagogical implications can be drawn from them.
