N2 - Hayabusa is the Asteroid Explorer that touched down and left a celestial body other than moon first time in the world. In this paper, the Touchdown Operations of Hayabusa are described in three aspects. Fist aspect is the Automatization and Autonomy of DHU (Data Handling Unit). DHU has six functions in this field; Short Macro Command, Long Macro Command, User Request Command, General Purpose Autonomy, System Timer and Time Line. Second aspect is the Automatization and Autonomy of AOCU (Attitude and Orbit Control Unit). AOCU has two functions in this field; CBT (Conditional Branch Table) and GSP (Guidance Sequence Program) Macro Command Table Last aspect is Real Time Operation. Decision making process in Touchdown Phase is described. At the end, how these functions work together in Touchdown Phase is described.
