    Abstract

    Unprecedented levels of cell mediated immunity can be stimulated by the consecutive use of DNA vaccines and attenuated poxvirus vectors encoding similar heterologous antigens. This may offer a means of preventive vaccination against disease for which no effective treatment is available.
