Abstract
This paper aims to create an authentic space where young Tongan women can articulate their issues on cultural notions and ideals that are pertinent to defining themselves and their place in Australia. This paper is also about developing and formulating new conceptual frameworks that underpin and document the constructed identities, redefined cultural notions and ideals, and the living reality and experiences of second and third generation Tongan women in the diaspora.
