Thin-film inorganic top cells in tandem with c-Si: Targeting 30% efficiency

    Abstract

    We model the performance of tandem solar cells combining low-cost thin film technology with high-efficiency c-Si bottom cells and identify the top cell material and optical properties required to achieve efficiencies > 30%.
