    Abstract

    Transverse electron momentum distribution (TEMD) of the spin-orbit wave packets launched in a pump-probe sequential double ionization from the valence shell of Ar is calculated by solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation (TDSE). Results are compared with a simple tunneling formula and recent measurements.
