    Abstract

Simulations of edge turbulence structures in the geometrics of stellarator and tokamak configurations were analyzed. The approximation procedure to include three-dimensional magnetic field configurations into flux tube models of the geometry was outlined. Turbulent structure formation in terms of parallel and perpendicular mode and radial zonal flow structures was discussed. The turbulent transport showed considerably different levels, which depended strongly on the various discussed geometric aspects of the magnetic field configuration.
