    Abstract

    Descriptions are presented for two new Parmotrema species containing alectoronic acid, P. conidioarcuatum and P. pycnidiocarpum, resulting from a survey of Parmeliaceae species in natural ecosystems and urbanized coastal areas of southeastern Brazil.
