Abstract
There are many religious NGO (non-government organisation) groups in Australia even though the number is less than the United States. The Tear Australia (TA) offers opportunities and chances for the marginalised people in the world through the programs of relief, advocacy, and social development. The Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) runs a variety of activities, such as regular public Bible talks, smaller Bible studies, prayer groups, mid-year conferences and evangelistic outreach events. Among the other Christian NGO groups, the Uniting World (UW) is a denominational NGO from the Uniting Church movement. Their method of approaching people is different and successful. Then, how is the Uniting World (UW) unique? What is their goal or purpose? How do they impact regional communities as a voluntary group? This paper not only analyses the history of the religious organisation and their socio-cultural motivation but also demonstrates the specific method of church consulting applied through the global networking of mentorship, education, and medicine
