Abstract
The 2024 Anthropology Photo Exhibition delves into multi-sensorial ethnography with a focus on "Beyond the Human.” Fieldwork and research photography highlight connections with the more-than-human. The exhibition features research on different species, ancestral beings, or monsters, including tangible and intangible materiality, exploring how these entities evoke memories, emotions, or connections tied to specific places or individuals. The exhibition’s central question is: Do these significant beings compel us to consider unruly edges, where interdependencies beyond the human cannot be ignored?
