Abstract
The vector potential of the Coulomb gauge is discussed. It was found that the Helmholtz theorem lead directly to a dynamical vector potential for electromagnetism and this potential was found to be Coulomb gauge. The vector potential was expressed in terms of an integral over the instantaneous magnetic field.
