    Abstract

    Focusing on relevant poems of Vicki Viidikas and Michael Dransfield, and with reference to the writer Murray Bail and artist Brett Whiteley, 'Viidikas, Dransfield and Air India" examines persisting 'Orientalist' perceptions of Asia in the Australian 60s. Dransfield's 'Pas de deux for lovers' and 'Patricia's raga' are compared.
