Abstract
A hind wing of Eoglosselytrum perplexa (Riek, 1953) (Insecta: Glosselytrodea) is described from the type locality. Evidence from the new material contradicts the wing-venation interpretation of Béthoux et al. (2001) but favours that of Carpenter (1992). Close relationships of the Glosselytrodea with polyneopterous orders are excluded. A more precise assignment than 'within the clade Paraneoptera+Holometabola' is not possible based on current knowledge.
